GLAMPING CABIN WITH HOT TUB
With views across open farmland dotted with sheep, geese and alpaca, The Deckhouse is a converted wooden cabin and is open all year round. It is quirky and rustic, we describe it as half cottage - half glamping. It's on the other side of the farm from the safari lodges so ideal if you are looking for a bit of privacy as it's not overlooked.
The Deckhouse sleeps a couple or a family of four; there is a king bed in the main bedroom and a mini bunk room at the other end of the building. (The bunk room is small with narrow beds suitable for children and young teenagers - not adults.) Bedlinen is provided.
The kitchen is well equipped with mini-oven/hob, microwave, little retro style fridge-freezer and table with Ercol chairs. The open plan sitting room has a comfy sofa, wall mounted television, books & games, colourful pictures and knick-knacks. The modern shower room runs off the open plan space and has towels, loo paper and soap etc provided. The cabin is well insulated and perfectly warm with the fire lit all year round.
Outside you have your own wood fired hot tub and a store of logs nearby. For 2018 bookings the hot tub is included in the price if you are booking direct with us. From 2019 the hot tub for The Deckhouse will be come an an optional extra, you'll find our prices and details about using the hot tub here.
Along with the hot tub there is a tripod barbecue, picnic bench and hammock. We have animals very close by and our dogs Molly and Wilbur may wander over to say hello, especially if they smell something on your barbecue! Charcoal is available to buy in our shop.
Please see our FAQ for more information about what is included, check in times and our Terms & Conditions.
