Our Life on The Farm
Middle Stone Farm Glamping is owned and run by Patrick and Catherine Heard. Tired of our London jobs we dreamed of living a slower and more sustainable lifestyle in the South West. We moved to the farm in 2014 and opened our accommodation to guests a year or so later. We had never farmed before but trial and error has got us where we are today. We farm with organic principals and spend many hours over the winter months planting trees and hedges, and channeling rainwater. We always consider our carbon footprint and make sure we do our bit for the environment.
We are very lucky to live in this quiet and relatively unknown part of the South West. West Somerset is a bit of a secret and well away from the busy tourist circuit. We love sharing Exmoor with our guests, it's a special place and incredibly beautiful. We have lots of ideas of good places to visit nearby, quality walks and nice places to eat.
