Hello, from Middle Stone Farm
Tired of the rush and noise of our lives in the South East, we dreamed of something slower, gentler, and more in tune with nature. Over ten years ago, we took the leap. Through trial, error and perseverance, we’ve found our rhythm. Today, we farm with care, following organic principles, planting trees and hedgerows each winter, digging swales to guide the rain and always seeking ways to tread lightly on this land we love.
We feel incredibly lucky to call this quiet corner of West Somerset home, a place tucked away from the tourist trail, where the pace of life slows and the beauty of nature takes centre stage. Exmoor National Park is on our doorstep: wild, untamed, and full of hidden treasures.
From secret rivers for a refreshing wild swim to gentle walks and cosy local eateries, we love sharing the joys of this land with our guests.
When we’re not welcoming visitors, you’ll find Patrick tending his barbecue, experimenting with wine, or lost in tree work, while Catherine has recently finished an MA in Fine Art and makes work around the farm. Life here is rich with quiet wonder and we can’t wait to share a piece of it with you.
