Glamping Packing List
What To Pack When You're Glamping on Our Farm
Remember to pack:
Please don't bring:
We'd Rather You Didn't Bring
- Duvet covers and pillow cases (unless you ticked the box on the booking form to hire ours). Bed size info is here
- Bath towels, unless you've hired ours on the booking form (we provide bathmats, hand towels and tea towels).
- Boots or wellies, definitely a good idea for staying on a farm and if you want to join our farm tour
- Swimsuit, bikini or trunks for the hot tubs unless you want raised eyebrows!
- Crocs or flipflops are useful for getting out of the hot tub, so are dressing gowns if you have space in your car.
- Waterproofs if there's rain forecast! Waterproof trousers or suits are useful for small children if they want to roll around in the grass or use our crawl tunnel!
- Warm clothes, coats and cosy hats if you're glamping in the spring or autumn. If it's cold you can wear your hats in the hot tub
- Bedsocks - not sexy but definitely sensible for a sleeping under canvas.
- Antihistamine if you get hayfever, suncream if the forecast is good!
- Torches or head torches, it's dark here at night and the safari tent fields are unlit
- Remember your phone charger, we have sockets in all our accommodation
- An electrical adapter if you're coming from overseas
- Ear plugs are sensible, there are sometimes countryside noises in the night, especially if the fox comes through which wakes up the chickens and the local dogs!
- Table Tennis and Badminton kits (or we have balls and bats available in our shop).
- If your dog is booked in to stay, you'll need a dog lead, dog bed and some dog poo waste bags. A tick twister is a good idea too, just in case).
- If you've hired our travel cot, don't forget your baby's gro bag or blankets. We provide a base sheet.
- Ear pods if you want to listen to music.
Please don't bring:
- Hair dryers or straighteners, these kinds of items will trip tent electrics as we don't have enough power for them.
- Heaters, fans or any similar electrical items, if you're glamping here these are too high voltage for our sockets
- Too much fresh food or large bottles of milk, there isn't lots of storage space in the safari tents and the fridges are small. 1 litre milk bottles are fine (we sell milk in our shop).
- Bottles of drinking water, our water is tested and fine to drink, we really hope you won't bring too much plastic as it's so detrimental to the environment.
- If you're celebrating and wanting to hang decorations, please be really conscious of the environment. No plastic glitter or confetti please, or any small plastic stuff please. Bunting is much better and kinder to mother nature!
- Speakers, we don't allow amplified music, if you want to listen to music please wear headphones ear pods. This is so guests staying in the tents next to you don't hear your music.
- Large bottles of milk - the fridges are not very big and you won't get those big supermarket bottles in the fridge door. We always have milk available in our shop, we sell non dairy milks too.
- No drones! Our animals get super stressed when they hear them, pregnant ewes can abort plus it upsets our neighbours or anyone else staying here too if they have a sense they're being watched or filmed. thank you. No kites either please as we have electric power cables in some of our fields.
We'd Rather You Didn't Bring
- Eggs from caged hens. Eggs from our chickens who live outside are £1.50. Hopefully eggs from happy hens taste much better too.
