Middle Stone Farm in West Somerset offers the ultimate glamping and farm holiday experience. We're a family-run working farm with friendly animals and gorgeous views towards Exmoor National Park and The Quantock Hills. With six large luxury safari tents, a bespoke wooden cabin plus a self catering holiday cottage all with private bathrooms and private hot tubs, this is the perfect family holiday location in the South West.
We offer a lovely base to relax and for those guests who want to explore there are plenty of things to do in the local area, we're on the Somerset Devon border and only a few miles from Exmoor National Park. We're very family friendly and welcome children of all ages, we're also a good option for group stays. With a selection of different accommodations spread over the farm, we're also a good choice for groups of families or friends wanting to stay together, we also offer couple price discounts outside the school holidays. Four of our safari tents are dog friendly, and there's a dedicated dog paddock where you can run your dog off its lead.
Say hello to the animals on one of our regular farm tours, visit our farm shop for delicious local products, meat from our farm and home cooked dishes, toast marshmallows on the fire pit, hang out in your hammock or wood fired hot tub and children can make friends and let off steam in the play areas. Exmoor National Park and the beautiful Somerset countryside are on our doorstep and the coast and beaches are within a half an hour drive.

Kestrel, Hawk and Buzzard Lodges are our dog friendly safari tents. We allow two dogs per accommodation and have a dog paddock where dogs can run off their leads.

Our farm shop is open from 1st April through to 1st November selling meat from the farm and local products. It's well stocked, and catering can be organised too.

All our accommodation is child friendly, we can also provide kit for babies and toddlers. There are children's play areas in both glamping fields.

You'll find comfortable beds in all sizes (including king beds for the adults), well equipped spacious kitchens with wood burning stoves and firewood provided, private bathrooms within your accommodation, fire pits, hammocks, barbecues and large Swedish hot tubs, we believe we have the perfect base for a relaxed family holiday! And if you're in an electric car, we have EV charging on the farm now too.
