Farm Cottage with Hot TubThe Stable Cottage at Middle Stone Farm comfortably sleeps up to 4 people and is open all year round. The self catering cottage is a practical single level building and a great base for exploring West Somerset, North Devon and Exmoor.
The main bedroom at one end of the building has a king bed and the second bedroom has a pair of single beds. The bedrooms are light and uncluttered with brass bedsteads and colourful pictures. The shower room is modern and spacious with a towels and soaps provided. The open plan kitchen and living space has a wood burning stove, comfy sofas, cheerful rugs, mirrors and pictures set against colourful walls. It has all the mod cons - TV/DVD player, WiFi, central heating, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, double oven and fridge freezer. There are board games and plenty of books to borrow and an old piano too if you fancy a sing-song! Access to the terraced garden is through the twin room or from outside. There's a private wood burning hot tub on the terrace, comfy rattan chairs, table and BBQ in the summer. The cottage views are mostly towards our barns. There is a view out from the twin room doors past the hot tub and towards open farmland and a menagerie of animals! The hot tub is an optional extra. It costs £40 for a weekend, £60 for a mid week stay, and £100 if you are staying from 5-7 nights. We provide bedlinen and towels, loo paper and soaps etc, an basket of firewood for the sitting room log burner, tea and coffee making basics and other items included in the cottage can be found here on our FAQ along with our check in times and more arrival information. The cottage is family friendly and we welcome children, babies and toddlers. A travel cot and high chair can be reserved when you make a booking and if you need a baby bath please let us know. There is a basket of toys in the cottage, a few children's books and DVDS along with children's crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. There is space for a single travel cot in either bedroom. Please note children over the age of 1 count towards the occupancy and the cottage sleeps a maximum of four people. If you are bringing a young baby under the age of 1 in addition to four guests please make a note on the booking page along with the baby's age so we know how many people are staying. Our shop is open from the start of 1st April to the end of October, you'll find the shop along with the little playground in the glamping field, less than a minute's walk away. Although the shop is closed in the winter we can still organise home cooked dishes, a breakfast hamper, meat from the farm, cake or cream tea or wine etc for your stay, just get in touch if you would like anything left in your fridge for your arrival. |
