We allow a single well behaved dog to stay in our three dog friendly safari tents at Middle Stone Farm, these are Buzzard, Hawk and Kestrel Lodges. If you're coming to stay please make sure they're booked in on your reservation form so we are expecting them, (there's a £25 dog extra fee) and please make sure you have read our dog rules below and on our T&C. We provide dog bowls, a dog friendly fleece blanket, jar of treats and compostable poo bags, the dog friendly safari tents each have a metal loop on the front of the deck and a long tether is provided so your dog can be with you whilst you're outside in the hot tub or around the barbecue.
The front deck of these three lodges is fenced and gated and there are plenty of cosy corners inside the lodge for your dog's bed or beanbag. We are a working farm so we do ask for your dog to be on a lead at all times please when you are outside your lodge, we can show you an area in the trees along our drive where your dog can be off its lead.
We're right on the Somerset Devon border with the coast only 25 minutes drive from the farm, so a perfect base for dog friendly holidays. All the local beaches are dog friendly, you can let your dog off the lead to run free at all times of the year. Exmoor is just 3 miles from us, check out Visit Exmoor for lots of dog walks, and all the pubs around here are dog friendly too.
Please make sure you have read our dog rules below and on our T&C.

We are quite strict about our dog rules so do please ensure you're happy to follow these before booking your stay. You'll also see these on our T&C:
Dog Rules
Dog Rules
- We allow 1 well behaved dog to stay in Buzzard, Hawk and Kestrel Lodges. They must be booked in on your reservation form, please don't turn up with a dog without telling us, we reserve the right to ask your dog to leave if you do. If there are only two of you and your dogs are small, we can sometimes accommodate two dogs (£25 per dog) if we're quiet on the farm, but please get in touch when you are making your booking to discuss this.
- Please keep your dog on a lead at all times outside your safari tent and make sure your dog is controlled. We're a working farm with lots of animals here, there are often young children staying on our farm who might not want to be jumped on, or step in dog poo.
- No dogs on beds, sofas or in the hot tub please!
- If you go out, you must take your dog with you, we do not allow dogs to be left unattended on our farm, either in your accommodation, or left in your car.
- Please make sure you have scooped up any dog poo, we provide some dog poo bags and there are bins at the back of each lodge.
- We can only host dogs over 6 months of age, no puppies please. Please make sure your dog is wormed, healthy and up-to-date with vaccines, and please don't bring a bitch on heat as that is too tempting for any male dogs in the vicinity!
- We cannot host any dogs who are aggressive, out-of-control or with behavioural issues eg. constant barking. If your dog seems out of control or other guests staying here complain about your dog we will ask you to leave and there would be no refund.
- You will see our dogs running off leads with Patrick around the farm and our dogs will be in the glamping fields on changeover days. They shouldn't come in the glamping fields at any other time (unless someone's left the glamping gate open!)
