We have six large safari tents on the farm, well separated into two separate glamping fields. Buzzard, Hawk and Kestrel safari tents are in the field with our farm shop, climbing frames and swings. This field is a good choice for families with young children as you can see the play areas from the lodges,
Bossington, Kilve and Porlock safari tents are in the neighbouring field, just a minute or two's walk away. These are our newer slightly larger glamping lodges and have amazing views onto Exmoor.
Four of our safari tents are dog friendly - these are Buzzard, Hawk, Kestrel and Porlock Lodges, two well behaved dogs may stay in each of these, there is an option to add your dogs to your booking on our reservation form.
There are three separate sleeping spaces in all of our lodges, Each lodge sleeps up to 6 people in a king bed, pair of single beds and quirky cabin bed, we give guests an option to bring their own bed linen, we can provide the bedlinen or beds can be made up ready for you. All our safari tents have spacious private bathrooms with good sized showers within the lodge.
There are firepits, hammocks, wood stoves which you cook on and which heat the space, private wood fired hot tubs (optional extra), electricity, USB sockets for charging phones and laptops, bike racks, toy baskets, sofas and a dining table for up to six. The kitchen is in the heart of the safari tent equipped with all the crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans etc you need for your stay plus an electric fridge with a small freezer compartment. If you'd like a breakfast hamper, cake, meat from the farm for the BBQ or a home cooked dish left in your lodge ready for your arrival, we offer catering too. If you'd like food left in your fridge for your arrival, just let us know.

Authentic Family Glamping Holidays in the South West
Derived from the words glamorous and camping, glamping is an outdoor experience that combines the closeness to nature associated with camping with the luxury and convenience of proper self-catered accommodation. Our safari tents offer that authentic sleeping-under- canvas experience with essential home comforts to ensure you have a good nights sleep and a very comfortable stay.
Our safari tents are open from the start of April through to the end of October Half Term. If you'd to stay in the winter wben the safari tents are closed for their winter renovations, The Deckhouse Cabin and Stable Cottage are open all year round and perfectly warm whatever the weather!
We usually have animals in the fields close to the safari tents, so you should be able to see some goats, alpaca, sheep and probably some pigs over the fences close to your accommodation. We also run farm tours once or twice a week when guests can come into the animal fields with us see the animals up close whilst they're having their breakfast.
We welcome groups of families who want to book a whole field of lodges together, you'll find more information about that here.
