Family Friendly Self Catering Cottage on a Working Farm
The Stable Cottage is lovely for families with children. It is well equipped with everything you need for your holiday and it's open all year round.
The children's bedroom has two little beds, children's books and a basket of toys. The beds are low and suitable for children under the age of 13, there's also space in this room for a travel cot, please note children over the age of 1 count towards the occupancy and the cottage sleeps a maximum of 2 children.
There's a wall mounted TV/DVD player in the sitting room and a bundle of children's DVDs, you can pick up the children's channels on Freeview and the cottage has WiFi too if you need to stay connected.
Our play areas are in the glamping fields, less than a minute's walk away from the cottage and open from April to the end of October Half Term. Free ranging chickens wander close to the cottage, we have three friendly farm dogs who'll probably come by and say hello and there are plenty of animals to look at over fences in the fields. We run our farm tours from April to the end of October when any interested children can join us feeding the animals and when the tractor's working and social distancing allows we do tractor rides too.
