Best Family Glamping at Middle Stone Farm

​Our glamping and holiday cottages are very family friendly and we have everything you need if you're staying with young children, we're a very family friendly farm!  We think glamping offers the perfect opportunity to unplug your children from their screens and let them connect with nature.  There's never a dull moment on our farm and lots of animals to meet.  

All the safari tents have cupboard beds with cubby hole spaces underneath perfect for games of hide and seek.  We provide children's crockery and cutlery and a trug of toys in all our accommodation.  There are plenty of children's books to borrow and board games for all the family. 

All our safari tents have spacious private bathrooms at the back of the tent.  We provided non slip shower mats, potties and a bathroom step so small people can reach the basin.  High chairs, travel cots and baby baths can be reserved on your booking form too. 

If you're glamping with little children, the best family safari tents to choose are Kestrel, Hawk and Buzzard as these tents are fenced and gated so adventurous toddlers are retained, these lodges are also close to the play area so you'll be able to see your children from your deck, there are also mini ride on tractors in this field. 

The Deckhouse Cabin and Stable Cottage are in a different location on the farm, but only a minute's walk to the safari tent fields and play areas.

As the seasons change there is always something on the farm to amuse small children.  From March to May lambs take the centre stage, there are usually a few lamb orphans being bottle fed too.  Most years we have piglets at this time of year too, although for 2022 we're a bit out of sync and we expect to have a lot more bigger pigs than in previous years!  There are wild rabbits everywhere and the glamping fields are a sea of buttercups too.  

We have adult wheelbarrows and children's wheelbarrows, so there's plenty of opportunity for barrow races!  Our shop stocks a few children's toys and we have a trug of toys suitable for primary age children in each accommodation too.
