Covid Cleaning and Our hygiene Practices, "We're Good To Go"

We look forward to welcoming guests back to the farm from 12th April and we will be working hard to make sure we keep everyone safe.

Cleaning
All hard surfaces will be cleaned with bleach and special spray disinfectants which kills 99.9% of viruses.  For soft furnishings, curtains, sofas, cushions and throws etc we have a fogger.  We ask guests to open their doors (and windows if you're in the cottage or cabin) as soon as you get up so it's well aired and safe for our staff and us to enter.   Extra attention is given to highly touched surfaces such as door handles, light switches, work surfaces, remote controls and electronic devices.

Check out will be slightly earlier at 9.30am and check in is from 5pm to allow all the extra airing and cleaning.

Check In and Seeing Us
All your arrival information will be sent via email a few days before you arrive and there's information in each accommodation with lots of user instructions.  We will also include videos for the hot tub and safari tent fires in our email.  We ask you to text us to let us know you've arrived in your accommodation and we'll pass by once you've settled in to say hello and check you have everything you need from a distance!  We live on the farm so you'll see us around the farm daily and we're always at the end of the phone if you need us.  You'll also find us in the shop, so this is another good opportunity to speak to us if you need to.

Check Out
We provide a linen bag and ask you to remove the bedlinen from all used beds and to bag it up yourselves, it is not safe for our staff to strip beds which have been slept in during the epidemic due to potentially throwing the virus in the air.  We also need you to have washed up properly and to have removed all rubbish and recycling and put it in the allocated bins.

Cancellation Terms
Here's a link to our Terms and Conditions where we have a paragraph about potential future lockdowns or tier rules.

Farm Tours
We hope to re start these at the end of March and will be following Government guidelines for social distancing.   We probably won't be able to do this as a big group like we normally do and we will need guests to wear face masks and follow the social distancing rules once they are published.  As soon as the Government have set guidelines we'll update this page and will let you know in your arrival email how we are running our tours this year.

Hot Tubs
Our hot tubs are safe during Covid because each hot tub is private and not shared with other guests staying here.  The water is changed between each set of guests, it is scrubbed down with bleach and chlorine is added to the fresh water.  Please note only one household may stay per accommodation, and only one household per hot tub, it is not safe to share them.

Our Shop
Our shop will be open as usual during the glamping season and we allow one family in at a time, we do ask you to wear masks and ideally to buy what you touch if possible.   Payment is taken safely via a text to your phone at the end of your stay so we don't need to handle cash.   Facemasks and hand sanitiser are available in the shop if you need more supplies.

Home Cooked Food
We we still provide delicious home cooked dishes, cakes, veg boxes, barbecue and breakfast hampers. All homemade food is pre ordered the day before (via text or in person when you see us in the shop) and will be ready to collect from our shop during our opening times.

Play Area
Our outside play areas will be open and we hope to have the mini tractors available too, guests may use the play areas at their own risk and we highly recommend your children wash their hands regularly if they are using the play areas and are considerate of other guests staying here.  Mini Tractors need to be returned to the play area at the end of the day for us to wash down.

Children's Toy Boxes
We took the children's toys away last year as they are very difficult to scrupulously clean on busy changeover days.  But we have listened to our guest feedback who say they really want them back, so a trug of toys will be available in each accommodation, but you will be using them at your own risk.  If you would like us to remove the toy box before your stay please let us know.
