Family Friendly Authentic Farm Glamping Holidays in Somerset

Happy New Year, Glampers!   January and February at Middle Stone Farm are a little quieter for guests, but very busy behind the scenes. Apart from our cosy cabin — which stays open all year round and makes a perfect weekend escape — the farm settles into its winter rhythm. While the fields are calm and the nights are crisp, we’re out and about planting new trees, straightening others whenever the wind decides to rearrange them, and making lots of little improvements to our glamping spaces ready for the new season.

Winter is also our planning season. This is when we fine-tune the details that make a Middle Stone Farm stay special — dreaming up guest menus, planning extra treats you can add to your booking, and generally making sure everything is just right for spring and summer family glamping holidays in West Somerset.  Around the farm, there’s plenty happening too. We’ve said goodbye to some of our ewes as they head off to new homes and fresh adventures, and we’re hoping to welcome some bottle-fed orphan lambs in time for the Easter holidays — always a firm favourite with families.  There’s even a chance a piglet or two might join the party.
