Easter Holiday Glamping in Somerset

22/2/2026

Easter at Middle Stone Farm Glamping, Somerset

Middle Stone Farm Somerset Glamping
Springtime Farm Magic
Easter at Middle Stone Farm is a truly special time — the glamping season opens just as lambing begins, so you might catch adorable newborn lambs frolicking in the fields or even get a chance to feed them during one of the farm tours

Luxury Meets Rustic Comfort
Stay in one of six spacious safari tents, a quirky timber cabin, or a cozy holiday cottage — each with its own private bathroom and optional wood-fired hot tub, perfect for warming up after an adventurous day outdoors.

Perfect for Families & Groups
Whether it’s a family getaway, a multi-family trip or a group retreat, Middle Stone Farm caters to everyone. There’s plenty of space for children to run free, safe play areas, and options for whole-field bookings so you can all stay together with privacy and peace.

Unplug, Reconnect & Explore
Here you’re invited to slow down — no schedules, no screens, just open skies and birdsong. Take long countryside walks, explore nearby Exmoor National Park, visit local beaches, or simply toast marshmallows by your firepit at sunset
Glamping Food and Picnics
A stay at Middle Stone Farm isn’t just about luxury glamping and spring lambs — it’s also a chance to experience real farm-fresh food without ever leaving the site. Tucked into a charming old stone outbuilding in the corner of the glamping fields, the farm shop (open April to October, just to guests staying here)  is the beating heart of your holiday kitchen and pantry.  You can pick up meat and eggs straight from the farm, veg during the summer months, and apples in the autumn.

There are plenty of Somerset ciders, beers, wine and artisan drinks, perfect for toasting your first evening by the firepit, or celebrating Easter Sunday.

Ready - to -  Heat homemade dishes - think lasagne, vegetable curries, apple pies or chocolate brownies can be pre ordered or grabbed from the shop freezer - ideal for relaxed meals when you want to unwind.

Everything in the shop reflects the farm’s ethos — simple, high-quality, local and delicious. Whether you’re firing up the barbecue or treating yourselves to a rustic Easter breakfast straight from the farm, the farm shop adds flavour and convenience to your stay.

Kilve Beach, Somerset Fossil Hunting
One of the joys of staying at Middle Stone Farm is that you’re tucked away in peaceful countryside — but just minutes from some of the most beautiful spots in West Somerset. Here are a few favourite Easter holiday outings:

Wild, dramatic and perfect for curious explorers, Kilve Beach is famous for its rock pools and fossil hunting. At low tide, children can scramble over ancient limestone ledges searching for ammonites, while grown-ups soak up the vast sea views. Pack a flask (or grab goodies from the farm shop before you go) and enjoy a proper windswept seaside adventure.

Step into a storybook village at nearby Dunster with cobbled streets and independent shops before exploring Dunster Castle’s gardens and medieval interiors. In spring, the grounds are full of colour — ideal for an Easter wander with a hot chocolate in hand.

West Somerset Railway - Hop aboard a heritage steam train and rumble through the Somerset countryside to the coast. It’s nostalgic, scenic and a huge hit with children (and secretly, most adults too)
